Rules:
1. Entries can be made at AssistExpo (https://www.assistexpo.ca/avonmorefair#)
2. We ask that all participants register their cattle by Thursday July 17, 2024. At that time, if numbers do not warrant either show proceeding, the organizing committee will review their options and all participants will be notified of any show cancellation. ANY BREED NOT MEETING THE REQUIREMENT OF 3 EXHIBITORS AND 12 ANIMALS WILL SHOW IN THE AOB DIVISION. The decision may be made on site due to show up and no show entries.
3. There will be an admission fee to enter the Fairgrounds if QR codes are not provided from entry.
4. Exhibitors are asked to provide their own bedding. It is recommended to bring a generator.
5. Each participant must accept the release form online or sign the paper form, releasing the Roxborough Agricultural Society from all responsibilities for the participant’s actions. Must have your own liability insurance.
6. All cattle coming to the show must have proper CCIA tags and be tattooed where necessary in accordance to breed standards. “Applied for” is acceptable for 2025 calves.
7. All general rules of the Roxborough Agricultural Society, which are applicable, will apply. Anyone failing to comply with these rules will be asked to leave the grounds and will be banned from participation in the 2026 show.
8. All Livestock participating in the Open Beef Show should show no evidence of a contagious disease.(e.g. Ringworm)
9. All animals must be appropriately handled and under control. Any animal who appears to be unsafe or out of control will not be permitted to enter the ring and will be banned from judging.

10. NO generators or fitting chutes will be permitted on the West side of the main barn (between the ring and barn). This is at the request of the Roxborough Agricultural Society for safety (fire lane), traffic and removing interference with the announcing booth.

We ask that you take pride in displaying your tie-stall area and yourself when entering the ring and conduct yourselves politely and professionally towards fair visitors and fellow exhibitors.

** ANY cattle not under proper control will either be not allowed to enter the show ring or asked to leave it for safety reasons and will be disqualified from competition.

**Back by Popular Demand** King/Queen of the Ring Classes. $20 to enter, half to winning entry and half to the Stormont 4-H Beef Royal Team. Entry to take place on site.

1 – Calf born on or after January 1, 2025

2- Senior born prior to January 1, 2025

3- Champion Bull

Supreme Champion Bull

Female Show

1- Calf born on or after January 1, 2025

2- Junior Yearling born April 1- Dec 31, 2024

3- Senior Yearling Born January 1 – March 31, 2024

4- Cow/Calf pairs – any age with Natural 2025 calf at side

5- Champion Female

Supreme Champion Female
